A pair of Max for Live devices which enable switching rack chains on clip launch. These feature a simple keyword syntax which can be freely mixed into clip names, as well as management of CPU overhead by automatically activating and deactivating individual rack chain devices on the fly.

To use the device:

Set up a MIDI/Audio/Instrument rack with individual chains' selectors on the index of their order in the list of rack chains (first chain: selector at 0, second chain: selector at 1, etc).

Add a chainActivator device to the track, and place it immediately before the rack you want to control. The display on the device should show the name of the rack and a paired index. You can pair multiple racks with different activator devices.

Add the keyword "chain_N_M..._Z" somewhere in the name of your clips on the track using this device. (where the capital letters are positive integers from 0 - 127) Each index in the keyword will correspond to the 'keyword index' displayed in the chainActivator devices. For example:

"MyClip chain_2_3_0" will set the first pair of chain activator device and rack to chain #2, the second pairing to chain #3, and the third to chain #1

Launch a clip. The chain of the keyword index will be routed to, and all non-active chain devices will be turned off.

NOTE: the racks can be renamed freely, but the name of the chainActivator devices needs to remain un-edited.

Tested with Live 10 and Live 11
